BTX Capital was founded by partners with backgrounds in investment banking, architecture and real estate development, on the conviction that South Texas represented an opportunity institutional capital had not yet fully captured. In 2022 several of the founders co-founded Citadel Realty LLC together with True Oak, a residential development company in Brownsville, laying the operating foundation the platform rests on today.
We funded our first project entirely with our own capital — Fund Zero, now complete — to validate the market before inviting other investors. Today we run four vehicles across Brownsville and Houston.

We invest our own capital in every project — 10 % to 30 % of the total.
